Fam Weekend

My parents came down on Wednesday for a Soil Conservation convention. We went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse with Linz and Grandma and Grandpa, I could probably eat those rolls endlessly! MMmmmm. I went to some auction with them that night and they came back to see where I live! 

Thursday I got to spend the whole afternoon with my Mom! Lucky girl. It was so much fun! I haven't been able to do that for a while and we had fun finding deals and cute cute stuff! I got ADORABLE gloves (ummm 2 pair... what?) and a matching beanie and some new shirts! I hadn't bought clothes in so long! Sheesh! I do well at not spending money but it had been so long! My winter wardrobe needed an update. And my mom spoiled me... Gosh. She is the best mom. Not just because she buys me things! Because she always gives and loves and smiles and cares and talks and listens and hugs and cooks and cleans and serves and sings and she's so awesome! I love that woman! 'Twas a great day. 

Friday... the rest of the crew came! Meg and Kimball's families :)

We played at Tim and Dana's house, went to the park, had some PB&J, then played some more at the Washington Community Center!

I had to work that night, but we went to Cafe Rio for dinner and then they came to Krave to see where I work:

Bubba's personality has totally developed and he is so hilarious! He says the cutest 2 or 3 word sentences and he smiles and smiles! He loves to tease and be teased! And he snuggles and he is not so much of a Momma's boy anymore!

Saturday morning was Les's big race! She ran the Snow Canyon half marathon and she did AMAZING! Under 1:55! Holy! She rocks. It was colllllddddd that morning, the dang wind! So we hurried out of there, Meg's fam went to Jumping Jacks, the rest of us went to have lunch at Tim and Dana's. Then they went to Sam's softball game and me and Meg's family went BACK to the park! The kids loved it so much. It was too windy and cold to stay as long as the day before so we went BACK to the swimming pool! They loved that even more and begged to go back all day until we did. I'm glad they had fun and I love to watch them play! After swimming, we went to the house and made some delish caramel apples and just relaxed. Then off to work for me again...

Kyson won the pumpkin coloring contest at his school! Very first place! Do not underestimate this boy, I tell you. He is quiet when he doesn't know you but he is hilarious and so smart and detailed and precise.

Sad to have them go but so happy they came! It made my week! I love them all to pieces and seriously wish I could see them more often. Not doing so... really sucks. But it just makes the time we do spend together that much sweeter! I know it's a long trek down here for little boys (for anyone) and I am so glad they were willing to come. I hope they come again soon! My family is the greatest! The greatest greatest! I love Kimball I love Les I love Caleb I love T I love Tim and Dana and Sam (they were soooo nice to let us overload their house!) I love Colt I love Meg I love Kyson Bug I love Kolby Kolbs I love Bubba I love Mom I love Dad! :)
