Jace had a birthday shout hooray!
There was a time when I wasn't friends with Jacie. Through high school plays, the Donaldson family, and Young Womens, we became friends and I am oh so glad we did! It's safe to say my life would have less adventure/scary things/cops/ambulances/horrifying times/deep chats/pee my pants laughing times/fitness in it if Jacie had not come into it. Jace always has something going on, somewhere to be and an idea for what we can do after that, too. She can't sit still for long and that's what I love about her. I can always count on her to be up for anything. Like for example, the time we decided it would be a good idea to go climb on top of the old trains in Echo during the middle of the night. Or the several times we decided to go skinny dipping. Or sleep on the tramp, buy a mouse from Petco, tube down the river, walk the loop around Hoytsville, color our hair with sharpies or perhaps, put 5 kids in a canoe right after spring runoff and paddle around Echo Dam. For any of those willing to try that, just note that it usually ends with all 5 of those kids in the the (literally) freezing lake, the canoe capsized, a couple ambulances and a dozen cop cars lined up to greet you, and, angry parents. Ah Jace! So many good times! I freakin love this girl! Love her for her lack of filter, her loyalty, her tender heart, her excited spirit, her side effect of laughing too hard, her confidence, the way she can laugh at herself, her honesty, her contagious energy, her love for little kids, and her willingness to help anyone with anything. I have confided in Jacie many times for many different things, and each time I walk away with a new perspective, a feeling of relief and understanding in my heart. She is wonderful at taking in information. Perhaps this also comes from her trait of sharing lots of information ;) Jace doesn't change who she is to meet anyone's standards. She lives life in a way that makes her happy, and if you're along for that ride--great! If not, you're missing out on a life of happy, hilarious laughs and memories of a lifetime. She is a true friend to me and one that I really miss living close to. I love ya Jace! I'm so grateful for you and all you have taught me and for all of our awesome memories! I can't wait to continue making them. They are sure to be stories that offer us laughs for years afterward ;)

Sidenote: I could post picture, after picture, after picture of Jacie and I. We are both picture people, so we have soooo many! I love, love, love looking at them all. I started going through our Facebook photos to find some more, but I decided I couldn't let myself dig into those or this post would become wayyyyy too long. However, I have anxiety about those photos being lost somewhere in cyberspace if Jace were to shut down her Facebook page. So perhaps over time I will get those pics and others transferred here. They represent so many good memories I really can't let myself forget!
Jace! I love ya! Thanks for being who you are. I wouldn't change a thing about you. Except your current location. I would move your butt to St. Geezy ASAP for heaven's sake!
