BYUH 17th ward to start off the day, there were excellent talks and lessons given. The gospel is always very cool, but the gospel amplifies for me when it is taught and learned among different cultures. That is one thing I really love about here. The different stories and insight are incredible.
And we went to WENDY'S after that!!!!!! Ky and I were so excited! Wendy's are more rare here, it's mostly McDonalds. So we were stoked for our Frosties! But... there was no big meat!?! Like, no number Ones. (What about small meat?) Oh wait, actually there is no meat. Or something. We don't really know. But apparently there was no meat. So we got Frosties and fries and found the next closest Wendy's on the GPS (our life saver!!!) where we, thankfully, could get big meat. Jr. Bacon!!!! Mmmmm yes! Thank heaven for the big meat!
Pearl Harbor was the next stop, and it was so... neat. It really is a neat place. As sad as the reason is that it is there, it is a very intriguing and thought provoking place. The history and the stories are endless and so interesting. It has a very reverent feel. We read some stories and went out the USS Arizona, watched the movie, read more stories, and we chose to go on the Bowfin Submarine too. They were all so cool. It is a cool, cool place and they have designed it well.

After Pearl Harbor we made a quick stop at Leonard's (that's pronounced LEOnard's for those of you who don't know) Bakery for more delicious malasadas!! Malasadas are goodness.
Of course after having dessert, we decided we should have dinner! So we drove around for a while trying to find some place worthy of our presence, and low and behold we found the one and only Taj Mahal (sp?) Indian cuisine. I cannot explain to anyone how flipping hilarious this dinner was. Too many funny things were said that made us all laugh our guts out. I may or may not have had tears streaming down my face. I seriously think there was a time there when I couldn't breathe for about 2 and a half minutes. It was the most hole in the wall place, I don't know why I didn't take pictures because as you can see my camera is usually attached to my hand at all times. The food was okay... but Kelv could just not... he could not put his finger on why you don't want to eat this as fast as you would want to eat... Texas Roadhouse for example. Because really, he would not seek this out as he would Texas Roadhouse. Hil on the other hand ate so much she was just full! But hey could someone pass her that rice? She just LOVED that rice! She loved it so much, she ordered another to take home. She needed Kelv to help tie up the bag though, which he did so helpfully even though she sort of had that one covered... We don't even know what we were laughing at so hard, but we were probably being those annoying loud people in restaurants that everyone despises. Oh man. Funny times. I wish I could share all the hilarious things that were said! Come visit me, we will have good times!
Kelv went to visit Vaka when we got home and I did some homework (ew!?) until we all fell fast asleep for another night at the beach rental!
Did I mention how much I love my family?
