Day Tres

Swap meet Saturday! We drove to the Aloha Stadium to get some killer deals on everything Hawaiian. And when I say everything, I mean everything--shirts, jewelry, carvings, art, stickers, bags, clothes, food. I think we each bought a little of everything. We had the first Malasadas of the trip too. Those are yum-my!!! I love them. Ky and I took up most of the day there, then we all went to the Aloha Center to watch the game... that's all we'll say about that. Then we went to Kahuku Grill! Where a boy tripped up the stairs, and smacked his head on this:

Poor kid.

Trent and some of his friends were at Sunset so we went there after we were done eating that deliciousness.

Kelv body surfed.

Hil and Ky tanned.

I photographed.

And played with sea shells.

There were some good surfers out! Oh man, I wish I had a picture or video of this one guy who totally went flying through the air on one wave! It was pretty hilarious!

You may be wondering who this woman is. We don't know. 

No one does. But we love her.

Ha! Jumping while being attached is difficult and funny!

We did a little jogging... Kelv did a little Rip 60...

On the way back to the car, Ky and I were innocently walking next to the road, minding our own business. We came to a place where a small road connects to Kam Highway-where there IS a stop sign I might add. Well, we get to this little street and there is a little white car just pulling up to the stop sign. There is a stream of traffic on Kamehameha (what Kelv???) so she MUST STOP. We stop, she stops, and then as we see that there is no way she could enter the highway anytime soon, we begin to cross in from of her. WHAT the HECK??????!!!!! As soon as we get right in front of her car, this crazy lady hits the gas!!!! hahahahahah I slam my hand on the hood of her car and jump out of the way so she doesn't hit me. I think we all screamed and Ky and I just start laughing and run out of the way as she slams on her brakes. I just turn around and give her a look like what the FLIP are you trying to kill me for?! And she just has this look of utter terror and shock on her face with her hands over her mouth... So yeah! This could very well have been the end of our fun filled trip! hahah!! I wish I had it on video it was so hilarious!! I don't know what she was thinking I still can't figure it out... I think she was on the phone, or drugs or something. But, not to worry! I'm safe! Just minor shock, no major injuries. Now that I think of it I wish I would have turned around and just started ripping her out and screaming that my lawyer would be in touch, etc. Just for the fun of it because that would have been great, but I was busting up too much to think of it. As the surfer kid who watched this incident happen said, "You almost got taken out!"

We made a trip to Foodlandia as Hil likes to say to get some necessities, rent a Redbox and we got a couple 5 dollar footlongs from Subway. We tried to watch Robin Hood, but we definitely all fell asleep. Aloha.
