Sweet Summer Time Cont.

I've been begging Tim to hike Kanarraville falls with me for what, a year now? He would never do it last year because we would run so far on Saturday mornings. This year he didn't have any running to do so I finally got him to go on my birthday weekend! And it was everything it was cracked up to be! Such a fun hike! Ad came with us too, we will sure miss him for the next 2 years!
It was a gorgeous hike! We live in such a fun place!

That hike, and lunch at Ka'illi's was my birthday weekend of choice! I love Hawaiian food more than I can say without getting choked up ;) On my actual birthday we both worked, but Tim "sneakily" worked in STG that day and brought us all cookies at work, then had lunch with us. He tried to hide his mischievous plans but... He had shifty eyes. I love that he spent time with me and my coworkers that day! We had Rigatti's and Swig in the office, plus Orange Peel for breakfast! I'm so spoiled. I work with the best people on the planet. We played pickleball with Linz and Chad that night. Yay!

Plus there was a rock slide at the end!
A rock slide to wedgie land is what it really was.

THIS is on my bucket list for next summer.
Yes I already have a bucket list for next summer.
What's on it?
Havasupai
Seattle
San Fransisco
Lava Hot Springs
Star Valley
Harry Potter Land
Russia?
What can I say? I have great form.
Tested out our cute ice cream maker with
oreo brownie ice cream - it was amazing!
And really I could just hug that ice cream maker
it's so adorable.
For Tim's birthday this year, we went down to Vegas to watch the NBA summer league! On the Saturday before his birthday, I went to Cher Bear's shower (eeeeek! I can't wait for those tiny triplets to be born!!) and then Tim picked me up and we headed to Vegas for the day. We shopped around a bit for the birthday boy, then had dinner at Roy's Hawaiian restaurant. It was classy. And good. But too expensive for my taste. Then we went to watch the Jazz play at the UNLV stadium. It was open admission so we got super good seats, and happen to sit down right next to several friends from St. George! Weird!
On Tim's actual birthday (which was on a Sunday) I made him some bomb strawberry lemonade cupcakes, and then attempted to make homemade donuts. The boy loves donuts. The few that made their way into this world were AMAZING! They were so good! The donut holes were my favorite. But then... our spatula started melting into the oil and we had no more oil to fry the rest of the dough in. Oopsie. Oh, also our fire alarm went off and we smelled like fried food for days.
Maybe next year we'll try donuts again... with better luck! :)
We played pool and games with Scott and Tracie, and had a good laugh about the way Scott wrote Tim's name on his card. We love our neighbors!

I've seen about a hundred hot air balloons on my
morning runs this summer, they are so beautiful every time!
Tim, Haley and Ali singing and playing
their hearts out
Sushi date night!
Precision at its finest.
Looking down on Snow Canyon from
the volcano
Tim has always wanted to hike this old
volcano. So we did!

It only took me 10 months but I finally showed our bedroom
some love and got this beast done.
This is not summer time (my hoodie and sweats definitely
prove that! heaven knows I can't stand wearing clothes
in my house in the summer time!) but this pic cracks
me up so bad! I had to post it!
Love my Kad!
So glad her and Jon came to stay for a night!
We had dinner at Texas Roadhouse, grabbed some
Ben and Jerry's and settled in for a chick flick.
I miss this girl so much.

Meg's boys hav been begging Tim to take them golfing
for like a year now. It finally worked out for us to take them
to the driving range while we were up there one weekend!

Bubba is getting a little help from Timmy :)

It rained on us a little, but
we were the only ones who braved it so
we got the whole place to ourselves!

We were so glad Grandpa Mark came too!

Hahahahah... if you listen at the end... 2 out of 5 say, "I missed!"

Practicing putting

After golfing we met up with everyone
at 5 Guys for lunch, and all the boys RAN
to Nixon, begging to hold him!
Melts my heart.
Meg's cute family at the Ogden temple open house.
Me, Bubba, Kolbs, Tim
I love this.
And I love that these boys will still hold hands... I feel
like the day where they don't do that is coming
up on me wayyyy too quick!

It was soooo beautiful!
Temples never cease to amaze me.

(walking holding hands pics)

Wicked! We sat on (almost) the back row and FROZE
our buns off but it was worth it!
The whole crew at the temple.
Love this crew.
We decided we needed a new hobby.
Rock climbing it 'twas!
