TODAY is this girl's birthday!

Lucky for the universe, it does.

J has been my right hand girl since... approximately kindergarten. We went through a few groups of friends but her and Lindsay and I kinda all stayed together forever, and then added Ky when she moved to the best place in the west! I remember the first time I went to J's house, she had this Barney (? or some character like that, I remember it as Barney) chair that was kid sized. And then we moved on to more mature things, like climbing down her laundry shoot. Oh wait, that was the same stage as when I peed my pants at her house from laughing so hard. Literally. She was such a good friend she let me borrow (have) a clean pair of underwear. I was like 8! Jeez! But the point of that is really that we always have so much fun that I laugh until I... cry. Usually it's just crying. Just that one time was different. I remember prank calling boys in our grade at her house when we would go there after school until our dance class started. Oh so many memories I could go on for, quite literally, years. But I shall leave some more for another day.

Just kidding! It's G it's G! J is all of the above and MORE! I'm a really lucky girl to have had her as a best friend my whole life. We have inside jokes out the wazoo-- from anything about our motel cleaning days to teasing Lindsay and quoting movies/people. I love this girl. I love her for her heart and her smarts and her big smile and her addiction to sitting down and her dancing skills and her weirdy side and her teeny tiny waist and piano fingers. She has an uncanny ability to say the just the right thing at the right time, in a funny or serious way. She has been my example of faith and testimony on oh so many occasions. She has the softest heart and she is sentimental like me. I'm grateful to J for always being exactly who she is, for her awesome hugs and EVERYTHING I will never be able to name that she has done for me. She is basically a vital organ to me. I get so excited to see her every time we can do so. I seriously miss having a locker next to hers and a house 6 minutes away. I love, love, love, love J. She has always encouraged me and advised me. She is one of my biggest fans as she is with all the people she loves. She is loyal as they come. I hope she knows at least a tiny bit how much she means to me. On so many occasions her hugs have been the best thing to ever happen to me. She can for some reason comfort me beyond belief with just a look and a J-dawg hug. Alright I better stop I'm getting all sapmeister. Happy birthday JJ Jetplane :)
