Cam and Josh made us these awesome shirts!!!
They are the Hawaiian Islands (obviously)
Spray painted using stolen outlines of the islands.
Cam donated his shirt to me as well, what a kid. |

| Showers at Huki! |
 |
| I love these showers!!!!! I don't know why. I think the sensation of showering outside, on beach in Hawaii is just the best. Showering with friends is even more fun! |
 |
| Luke... he didn't get in on the shower party |
 |
| Tash also opted out of the shower shananigans today. |

| THE CAF. |
 |
| Yup. That face describes it all. |
 |
| Cameron Anderson, inventor of the triple stack pb&h, a regular caf favorite. |
 |
| Oh man. I love these girls. |
A word on the caf....
You will never understand it until you eat there for a year. No matter how hard I try, I will never be able to explain the caf. The first day Kad and I ate there... we had these nasty wraps and we were thinking "Ohhhh boy. This is going to be a long year."The caf actually did have some decent meals every once in a while, but then there were other days or weeks I swear that every option was so nasty. My favorites were chicken casadillas, tacos, the pasta, pizza, deli day, and I can't remember the others. But, there were always the old standards: pb&j or pb&h, (cut in triangles of course, and always sharing the best bite!) toast or cereal. And they had these gigantic waffle makers! Those were good, but got old. We also got creative sometimes, combining cereals and double decking sandwiches. The creativity was endless, and we came up with some funny stuff. The breakfast was really pretty good, pancakes and omelets were yummy! I mostly like the caf though, because it was so fun to eat meals with your friends or meet knew people. Every night we would text or call to figure out what time we were going to dinner and every night something hilarious would happen and we would laugh until we (I?) cried. Some days we would sit in there for HOURS and cycles of people would come and go before we even thought about leaving. It was so much fun, and also pretty fattening. Fast Sundays were mad house days, but we got ice cream! (Mixed it with rice crispies and peanut butter, what else?) We would joke about our student IDs being our life lines-- can't get in the caf without them! We would pretend to be robots always swiping our cards... good times. Occasionally something exciting would happen in the caf, like the Korean celebration, or the time the choir broke out into song! That was awesome. Or there was the time Tasha tripped and dumped Jill's Cheerios everywhere. Stacking cups was a highlight as well. So many memories! Half our lives were spent in that pink and white cafeteria I swear. I miss it sometimes! The food, no. But I'd take the food if it meant hanging out with my friends 24/7 again.
One last word on food. The rumors are true, its friggin' expensive in Hawaii. The first thing people blurted out when I told them I was going to Hawaii was, "Oh my gosh! Milk is like 7 dollars a gallon over there!" I came to expect it as the first response, always. But it was true! I got there and sent a picture of milk being 6 something to all my friends at home that I joked about that with. Foodland was outrageous, I think they do it to rip college kids off but that's just me. We had to save up to buy an 8 dollar bag of trail mix, or raisins in Jill's case. It was crazy, I came home and was amazed at how cheap everything was at grocery stores in Utah. That didn't really stop us from going to Foodland almost every night and buying Ben and Jerry's or Haagan Daaz ice cream though...
